Los Angeles, CA – Multiple Injuries Reported in Hancock Park Car Accident
Los Angeles, CA (May 18, 2023) – A crash in Hancock Park left multiple people injured on Wednesday night, May 17th. The crash took place on Wilshire Boulevard.
According to an initial report from the Los Angeles Police Department, a total of five cars were involved in the crash. Many of the vehicles suffered heavy damage. Fire crews arrived to provide assistance to the injured victims. First responders at the scene had to cut the roof of one of the cars in order to extricate several trapped victims.
At least two people were transported to a local hospital for treatment of undisclosed injuries. There is no word on their conditions at this time. No one involved in the crash has been identified. It is unclear how the accident took place.
Police partially shut down the road while they conducted an investigation. Motorists were advised to avoid the scene and to look for alternate routes of travel.
