Fatal Car Accidents in California

Traffic accidents in California occur hundreds of times each day. About 10% of all reported California car accidents will lead to serious injuries or death for victims. Unfortunately, a substantial percentage of these same crashes will affect innocent motorists. Negligent driving, such as speeding, distraction, impairment, and failing to yield, can cause a major crash to occur in a matter of seconds.

If you or a family member have been affected by a California car accident, you may have rights under California law. This includes the right to receive compensation for your losses. If your family member was killed in the crash, you could be entitled to file a wrongful death lawsuit against the other driver. The law is complex, however, and you should not attempt to handle your own claim, as doing so could lead to a loss of key legal rights.
