North Hollywood, CA – Scooter Driver Killed in DUI Crash on Vineland Ave.

North Hollywood, CA (February 23, 2023) – A ma riding a scooter died in a crash with a car in North Hollywood on Wednesday, February 22nd. The accident occurred around 12:50 a.m. on Vineland Avenue at the intersection with Riverside Drive.

According to a report from the Los Angeles Police Department, a woman was riding a scooter in the southbound lanes of the road. At the same time, a scooter was also traveling in the southbound lanes. The woman struck the scooter with her vehicle. The exact cause of the crash has not been revealed at this time. The woman, whose identity was not released, remained at the accident scene. The victim’s identity has also not been revealed. There were no other vehicles or individuals involved in the collision. Motorists were advised to avoid the area following the crash.

Following an investigation, the woman was charged with DUI. Additional charges are pending the outcome of an investigation. No further information has been released at this time.
