California Motorcycle Accidents

Riding motorcycles can be a hazardous activity. While many Californians enjoy riding, there are certain risks that are hard to ignore. According to statistics, about 80% of all California motorcycle crashes will result in injuries. Many injuries are serious in nature and will require hospitalization and long-term medical care. In the worst-case scenario, the crash will be fatal and will result in the death of the motorcyclist. Motorcycle accident fatalities account for about half of all traffic-related deaths on California roadways. These numbers have not declined significantly in recent years as our state continues to be a dangerous place for riders.

If you or a loved one have suffered harm in a California motorcycle accident, you should be aware of your legal rights. It is important to know what steps you can take to recover compensation when you have been affected by someone else’s negligence. Liability and fault for motorcycle accidents are often disputed issues. In some cases, it is not entirely clear how the crash occurred.
