Simi Valley, CA – Two Seriously Hurt in Crash on Walnut Ave.
Simi Valley, CA (May 20, 2023) – Authorities in Simi Valley responded to the scene of a car accident with injuries on Saturday morning, May 20th. The accident happened just after 9:30 a.m .at the intersection of Walnut Street and Galveston Avenue.
According to a report from police, an e-bike was traveling southbound on Galveston when the rider failed to stop at a stop sign. As the bike proceeded into the intersection, it was struck by an eastbound car. The two riders on the e-bike were ejected from the bicycle. They were treated at the scene and then transported to a nearby hospital. Their injuries were described as serious but not life-threatening. Neither the driver nor the passenger of the car were hurt in the accident. No one involved in the crash has been identified at this time.
Authorities have not said whether any charges are expected to be filed in connection with the accident. An investigation remains underway at this time.
