Los Angeles, CA- Three Killed in Crash with Fleeing Vehicle on State St.
Los Angeles, CA (February 5, 2023) – Officials with the Los Angeles Police Department responded to the scene of a deadly crash on Sunday morning, February 5th. A report of the accident came in around 2:00 a.m., and the crash reportedly occurred at the intersection of State Street and Tweedy Boulevard.
According to officials, a police officer attempted to stop a vehicle, but the driver fled the scene instead. The car led officers on a high-speed chase through several areas before it collided with several other vehicles at a high rate of speed. The crash resulted in heavy damage to all cars involved. Two people died at the accident scene, while a third was pronounced dead at a local hospital. Others were injured in the accident, but there is no report on their conditions at this time. Police say that occupants of all vehicles were injured in the crash. The identities of those involved have not been released at this time.
