Venice, CA – Bicyclist Killed in Hit-and-Run Crash on Pacific Ave.
Venice, CA (March 5, 2023) – A fatal crash involving a bicyclist was reported in Venice on Saturday morning, March 4th. The accident happened around 12:40 a.m. in the northbound lanes of Pacific Avenue.
Officers with the Los Angeles Police Department were called to the scene to investigate the crash. According to a report, a small, light-colored vehicle was traveling in the area when it struck the rider. The bicyclist was ejected from the bike and landed in the road. Paramedics and first responders arrived and pronounced the victim dead at the scene. The driver of the car fled the area immediately following the collision.
Authorities continue to investigate the accident at this time. The identity of the deceased victim was not released. There is no further description of the suspect available. No additional details are available.
