Pedestrian Accidents in California

California is home to many pedestrians. With busy cities and metropolitan areas, traveling by foot is quite common, especially in Los Angeles’s downtown area and its shopping and entertainment districts. Between 2018 and 2022, 2.9 out of 100,000 individuals were killed in Los Angeles pedestrian accidents. This rate was significantly higher than the national average of 2.2 per 100,000 population. This is to say nothing of the thousands of people who are hurt in these crashes. Los Angels pedestrian accidents have a greater than 80% injury rate, with many victims suffering serious injuries due to a crash.

If you or a loved one were injured in a Los Angeles pedestrian accident, you may have legal recourse.
