California Motorcycle Accidents
Motorcycles are popular across California. In fact, California leads the nation with more than 800,000 registered motorcycles across the state. While motorcycle riding is an enjoyable activity for many, it is not without risks. The odds of being injured in any given motorcycle crash are approximately 80%. To make matters worse, most accidents do not end with minor injuries. Riders are more likely to sustain major injuries. These injuries can be life-threatening and even result in death.
When a motorcycle crash occurs, it must be closely investigated by authorities. In many instances, the accident will be caused by a negligent driver. These drivers fail to see or fail to yield to the motorcycle, resulting in a serious crash. The driver of the other vehicle can and should be held legally responsible in such situations. If you or a loved one have been affected by a California motorcycle accident, it is important to have proper legal representation in order to protect your rights.
