Los Angeles, CA – Four Hospitalized in Crash on Sawtelle Blvd.
Los Angeles, CA (February 20, 2023) – The Los Angeles Police Department and rescue officials responded to a crash involving injuries on Sunday, February 19th. The crash occurred around 12:30 p.m. in the 2000 block of South Sawtelle Boulevard.
Police say that the driver was traveling on Sawtelle when he had a heart attack. His car collided with a dumpster that then struck several pedestrians. One of the pedestrians, identified as a 20-year-old woman, was riding an electric scooter when she was hit by the dumpster. She was rushed to a hospital with critical injuries. A 74-year-old man, along with a 24-year-old woman and a 61-year-old man, was also transported with serious injuries. There were listed in fair or moderate condition at the hospital. The identities of the victims have not been released. There is also no update on the driver’s condition at this time.
