Jurupa Valley, CA – Charles Bolin Identified in Pedestrian Crash on Market St.

Jurupa Valley, CA (June 20, 2023) – Police in the Jurupa Valley area responded to the scene of a pedestrian accident on Saturday morning, June 17th. The crash happened around 2:30 a.m. on Market Street at the intersection with 24th Street.

According to the Riverside County Sheriff’s Department, 66-year-old Charles Bolin was walking near the road when he was hit by an unidentified vehicle. When police arrived, they found Bolin lying in the roadway. He was pronounced dead at the crash scene. The driver of the vehicle fled the scene just after the crash happened. There is no available description of the vehicle or the suspect at this time. It is unclear exactly how the crash took place.

An investigation is ongoing at this time. Anyone with information on the accident is asked to contact Deputy Petersen with the Jurupa Valley Sheriff’s Office.
