Pomona, CA – UPDATE: Antonio Garcia Identified in Crash on W. Pomona Blvd.

Pomona, CA (June 1, 2023) – Authorities in Pomona have identified the victim of a fatal crash that took place earlier this week. The accident happened just after 5:00 a.m. in the 4100 block of West Valley Boulevard.

According to a report from the Pomona Police Department, 62-year-old Antonio Garcia was a passenger in a car that was involved in a two-vehicle crash. Garcia suffered fatal injuries and was pronounced dead at the crash scene. The driver of his vehicle suffered moderate injuries as a result of the accident. No additional injuries were reported. The identities of the other motorists were not revealed. Police did not release any information on the cause of the collision.

Motorists were asked to avoid the scene while an investigation was conducted. There is no further information available.
