Antelope Valley Hit-and-Run Accident
Injury accidents take place in Los Angeles County multiple times every day. According to statistics, more than 40,000 people were hurt last year when they were involved in crashes on our local roadways. Past history tells us that about 15 to 20 percent of all reported car accidents will be classified as hit-and-run accidents. In order for a crash to be a hit-and-run, drivers must flee the scene of the collision before police are able to arrive. Legally, drivers are required to remain at the crash scene when they are involved in an accident. However, this does not prevent many motorists from leaving in order to try and avoid responsibility for their actions.
