Sun Valley, CA – Woman Killed in Two-Car Crash on Lankershim Blvd.
Sun Valley, CA (June 3, 2023) – A woman was killed in a crash that took place early Saturday morning in Sun Valley. The accident occurred just before 4:00 a.m. at the intersection of Lankershim Boulevard and Cayuga Avenue.
According to the Los Angeles Police Department, two cars were traveling northbound on Lankershim Boulevard when one of the cars collided with the back of the first car. The first car overturned after the collision. The driver of that car, identified as a 27-year-old woman, died at the crash scene. The woman’s identity has not been revealed. No additional injuries were reported.
Police closed the road while they investigated the crash. Motorists were advised to avoid the scene during this time.
An investigation remains ongoing. There is no further information available.
