Sun Valley, CA – Multi-Car Injury Crash on I-5 at Lankershim Blvd.

Sun Valley, CA (March 31, 2023) – The California Highway Patrol was dispatched to the scene of a serious car accident in the Sun Valley area on Friday morning, March 31st. The crash took place just before 10:00 a.m. in the southbound lanes of the Interstate 5 Freeway near the intersection with Lankershim Boulevard.

According to a report from the CHP, a gray Toyota sedan, a second car, and a light-duty truck were all involved in the collision. The vehicles were blocking the No. 1 and No. 2 lanes of the freeway after the collision. Police and paramedics arrived shortly after the collision occurred.
