Pacific Palisades, CA – One Killed, Two Injured by Drunk Driver on PCH

Pacific Palisades, CA (April 9, 2023) – Police in Pacific Palisades arrested a man for drunk driving following a deadly crash early Saturday morning. The accident took place around 12:45 a.m. on the Pacific Coast Highway near Sunset Boulevard.

According to the Los Angeles Police Department, the suspect was traveling southbound on the Pacific Coast Highway when he crashed into three parked cars. Two of the cars were pushed off the road and into rocks along the Pacific Ocean. Three people who were sitting on the rocks at the time were hit by the parked cars. A 32-year-old woman died at the accident scene, while a second 32-year-old woman was transported to a hospital with serious injuries. A 17-year-old boy was also transported with moderate injuries. The 32-year-old woman and the 17-year-old boy were listed in stable condition at the hospital. No one involved in the accident has been identified.

Following an investigation, police arrested the driver of the vehicle and charged him with driving under the influence. The crash remains under investigation at this time.
