Santa Ana, CA – Pedestrian Killed in Crash on N. Harbor Blvd.
Santa Ana, CA (May 7, 2023) – Police in Santa Ana are investigating following the death of a pedestrian on Sunday morning, May 7th. The crash happened just after 1:00 a.m. in the 500 block of North Harbor Boulevard.
When officials arrived at the scene, they found a pedestrian lying in the roadway. The pedestrian, who was not immediately identified, was pronounced dead at the crash scene. Following an initial investigation, it was determined that the pedestrian was attempting to cross Harbor Boulevard when they were struck by an oncoming vehicle. The driver of the vehicle remained at the scene and spoke with investigators. At this time, it is not believed that alcohol played a role in the accident. The crash remains under investigation.
