Los Angeles, CA – UPDATE: Stephanie Guerra, Ashley Salinas Identified in 110 Fwy. Crash
Los Angeles, CA (April 7, 2023) – The two victims of a fatal car accident in Los Angeles have not been identified by authorities. The crash originally took place on Thursday, April 6th around 1:40 a.m.
Police were dispatched to the scene in the southbound lanes of the 110 Freeway near Gage Avenue. According to a report, 18-year-old Ashley Salinas and 19-year-old Stephanie Guerra were killed in the collision. Police say that the victim’s vehicle was traveling southbound on the 110 Freeway when the car left the road and slammed into an embankment. The vehicle then flipped over, ejecting the driver and a passenger. The two women were pronounced dead at the crash scene. There were no other vehicles involved in the accident. No additional injuries were reported. Motorists experienced significant delays at the scene and were advised to avoid the area if possible.
The cause of the accident is currently being investigated by authorities. There is no further information available at this time.
