Santa Fe Springs, CA – Four Hurt in Fiery Car Accident on 5 Fwy

Santa Fe Springs, CA (April 28, 2023) – Officials in Santa Fe Springs responded to the scene of a major car accident on Thursday night, April 27th. The crash happened in the southbound lanes of the 5 Freeway near the exit for Rosencrans Avenue.

Police say that two cars were involved in the collision. Four occupants of the vehicles were hurt in the accident. One of the cars caught fire immediately following the crash, and two people were ejected from their vehicle. The two victims who were ejected were rushed to a hospital in unknown condition.
