Los Angeles, CA – Injury Crash Reported at Fickett St. and Chavez Ave.
Los Angeles, CA (May 6, 2023) – The Los Angeles Police Department responded to the scene of a car accident with injuries on Saturday afternoon, May 6th. The accident was reported after 2:00 p.m. at the intersection of N. Fickett Street and Cesar Chavez Avenue.
According to an eyewitness report, the accident involved a grey sedan and a blue SUV. The cars appeared to collide head-on with each, and both were stationary against the curb. Both vehicles sustained damage to their front end. Paramedics were dispatched to the scene and provided treatment to at least one injured victim. There is no information on the identity of the victim or the extent of their injuries at this time, and it is unclear exactly how the crash took place.
Motorists were asked to use caution when traveling near the scene and to find alternate routes of travel if possible. The accident remains under investigation at this time. No additional information is available.
