Hollywood, CA – UPDATE: Monica Hyun Mi Suh Identified in Fatal Tesla Crash
Hollywood, CA (April 5, 2023) – Officials in Hollywood have identified the victim of a deadly accident that took place earlier this week. The crash occurred around 2:30 a.m. in the 8200 block of Sunset Boulevard near West Hollywood.
According to the LAPD, 31-year-old Monica Hyun Mi Suh was killed in the collision. Police say that Suh was a front-seat passenger in a Tesla that was involved in the accident. The accident happened when the Tesla left the roadway and collided with several objects before coming to rest in the parking lot of a restaurant. In addition to Suh, three other people were hurt, and two were left with critical injuries. None of the other victims have been identified at this time.
There were no other vehicles involved in the accident. The cause of the crash is unclear. The LAPD continues to investigate, and it is unknown if any charges are expected in connection with the collision.
