Jurupa Valley, CA (February 3, 2023) – The California Highway Patrol was dispatched to the scene of a deadly crash involving a pedestrian on Friday, February 3rd. The accident occurred around 1:30 a.m. on the Pomona Freeway at the intersection with Valley Way.
According to a report from troopers, the deceased victim was crossing the road when a black Honda Civic hit them. The pedestrian, whose name and age were not released, was pronounced dead at the accident scene. The Riverside County Fire Department assisted at the crash site. The driver of the Civic was not injured in the collision. Police and rescue officials are still looking into the accident to determine the cause. There is no word on whether any charges will be filed in connection with the collision. The driver was not identified.
