Hollywood, CA - One Dead, Two Hurt in Hit-and-Run Crash Involving Tesla

Hollywood, CA (April 3, 2023) – Police in Hollywood were dispatched to the scene of a deadly hit-and-run accident on Monday morning, April 3rd. The crash occurred around 2:30 a.m. at the corner of Sunset Boulevard and Roxbury Road near West Hollywood.

According to the Los Angeles Police Department, fourth people were riding in a Tesla when the car left the road and crashed into a lamp post and a tree before coming to rest on a restaurant patio. The Tesla caught fire after the collision. The driver of the Tesla got out of the vehicle and fled the scene on foot, leaving the other occupants trapped inside.

One person died as a result of the crash. A male and a female, both in their 30s, were transported to a hospital in unknown condition. No one involved in the accident has been identified at this time.

The road was closed for several hours to allow police to investigate the crash. There is no further word on the whereabouts of the driver.
