Los Angeles, CA – One Killed, One Hurt in Crash on 253rd St.
Los Angeles, CA (April 2, 2023) – Police in the Harbor City neighborhood responded to the scene of a fatal car accident on Sunday morning, April 2nd. The crash happened around 2:20 a.m. in the 900 block of west 253rd Street.
Based on an initial report, two vehicles were involved in the accident. The Los Angeles Fire Department responded to the scene and extricated two people from the wreckage. One of the victims was pronounced dead at the crash scene, while a second individual was transported to a local hospital for treatment of undisclosed injuries. It is not clear what caused the accident to occur at this time. The identities of those involved have not been released.
The road was partially closed while police investigated the collision. Motorists were asked to avoid the area.
