Garden Grove, CA – One Killed in Crash on Grove Fwy. at Brookhurst St.

Garden Grove, CA (May 30, 2023) – Police in Garden Grove were called to the scene of a deadly crash on Monday afternoon, May 29th. The accident occurred just before 5:00 p.m. at the intersection of Garden Grove Freeway and Brookhurst Street.

The California Highway Patrol was dispatched to the crash scene. When troopers arrived at the scene, they found one person suffering from critical injuries as a result of the accident. The victim later succumbed to their injuries. There is no word on the cause of the accident at this time. The identity of the victim was not immediately released. Police shut down the roadway while they conducted an investigation into the collision. During this time, motorists were advised to avoid the area and to find an alternate route of travel if possible.
