Injury Accidents in California

It is estimated that approximately 500,000 car accidents take place in California every year. As a result of these collisions, about 200,000 victims will suffer injuries of varying severity. The cause of every accident must be carefully investigated but, in most cases, accidents will happen because of negligent or careless driving. Speeding, reckless driving, distraction, and impairment are among the most common causes of car accidents in California. Unfortunately, innocent victims can be and are frequently affected when they are involved in these accidents. A crash happens very suddenly and unexpectedly and can leave victims with serious injuries and a disrupted life.

While a crash can change your life in a negative way, it does not mean that you should be forced to bear responsibility for someone else’s negligence. California law allows accident victims to file a legal claim against the driver who was responsible for the crash. These claims must be filed within a certain period of time. It is important to seek legal advice as soon as possible so that you do not jeopardize or lose your rights. Acting as soon as possible can help to ensure that you receive the compensation that you need to get back on your feet.
