Los Angeles, CA – Two Women Killed in Crash on 110 Fwy.

Los Angeles, CA (April 6, 2023) – Two women were killed in a crash that took place in Los Angeles on Thursday morning, April 6th. The crash happened around 1:45 a.m. on the 110 Freeway in the Vermont-Slausen neighborhood in Los Angeles.

According to a report, the vehicle was traveling southbound on the 110 Freeway when it struck an embankment near Gage Avenue. The car then hit a tree and rolled over onto the No. 4 lane of the freeway. Both women were ejected from the car in the collision. As the vehicle was in the No. 4 lane, the women were then struck by a passing vehicle. The driver of that vehicle remained at the scene to speak with investigators.

Both women died at the crash scene. Police have not realized any information regarding their identity at this time. No other injuries were reported.

The California Highway Patrol is currently investigating, but it appears as though speed played a role in the accident. No further information is available.
