San Bernardino, CA – Multiple Injuries in Car Accident on Del Rosa Ave.
San Bernardino, CA (May 1, 2023) – Police in San Bernardino responded to the scene of a crash that injured multiple people on Sunday, April 30th. The accident happened just after 2:30 p.m. at the intersection of Del Rosa Avenue and Highland Avenue.
According to Chris Gray of the San Bernardino Police Department, a suspect run a red light and crashed into seven other vehicles at the intersection. The driver then fled the scene of the accident. A total of seven people were transported to nearby hospitals. Two of the victims were listed in serious condition. Rescue workers extricated two of the victims from their vehicles. Police have not provided a description of the fleeing vehicle or the suspect at this time. The identities of those involved have not been released.
An investigation into the crash remains ongoing. There is no further information available.
