Gardena, CA (June 9, 2023) – A deadly car accident took place in Gardena on Thursday evening, June 8th. The accident happened just before 8:00 p.m. at the intersection of 135th Street and Crenshaw Boulevard.

When police arrived at the scene, they found two cars suffering from major damage. The vehicles involved were a white Kia and a black Mercedes-Benz. Authorities say that the Kia driver was traveling at a high rate of speed when it struck the Mercedes at a stoplight. Both drivers were rushed to the hospital with serious injuries. The Kia driver eventually succumbed to their injuries while the Mercedes driver underwent further treatment.
