Fullerton, CA – Two Killed, Three Hurt in Crash at Magnolia and Flower Intersection
Fullerton, CA (April 10, 2023) – Two people were killed, and three others suffered injuries in a crash that took place in Fullerton on Sunday, April 9th.
Authorities were called to the scene of Magnolia Avenue and Flower Avenue just after 9:00 a.m. in response to a multi-vehicle collision. According to a report, a motorcycle, a minivan, a pedestrian, a bicyclist, and a third vehicle were involved in the accident at the intersection. The pedestrian, a 70-year-old woman, was hit by one of the vehicles and died at the scene. The motorcyclist, a 35-year-old man, also suffered critical injuries and died at a local hospital.
Police say that the crash happened when the motorcycle and an Audi sedan collided with a minivan that was trying to turn onto Flower Avenue. The motorcyclist was ejected, and the minivan veered off the road, striking the pedestrian and the bicyclist on a sidewalk. The minivan driver and a passenger sustained moderate injuries. The cyclist also suffered moderate injuries.
Officials continue to investigate the accident at this time. Neither drugs nor alcohol appears to have been a factor in the collision, and there is no word on whether any charges will be filed.
