Fontana, CA – One Hurt in Crash on 210 Fwy. near Beech Ave.

Fontana, CA (April 20, 2023) – One person was taken to a local hospital following a car accident in Fontana on Thursday, April 20th. The crash happened around 1:40 a.m. in the westbound lanes of the 210 Freeway just east of Beech Avenue.

According to a report from the California Highway Patrol, a sedan and a concrete hauler collided with each other, causing the sedan to overturn. An ambulance responded to the scene and transported one person to a local hospital with an upper-body injury. There is no work on whether the injured victim was in the sedan or the concrete hauler at the time the accident occurred. The victim’s identity was not immediately released following the crash. Motorists were told to avoid the road as several lanes were partially blocked.

An investigation into the accident is underway at this time. There is no word on whether any charges will be filed in connection with the collision. No additional information has been released.
