Brea, CA – One Killed, Two Hurt in Car Accident on Carbon Canyon Rd.

Brea, CA (March 21, 2023) – The Brea Police Department was dispatched to the scene of a fatal collision on Monday night, March 20th. The accident happened around 8:00 p.m. on Carbon Canyon Road, just east of Olinda Village.

According to a report from police, two cars were traveling in the opposite direction on Carbon Canyon when they collided head-on with each other. One of the drivers suffered major injuries and died at the crash scene. A second driver and a passenger in the other vehicle sustained non-life-threatening injuries and were taken to a local hospital for treatment. Officials are currently investigating the cause of the accident at this time. The identities of the victims have not been released. Motorists were advised to avoid the area and to find an alternate route of travel if possible.
