Anaheim, CA – Two Pedestrians Killed in Crash on S Anaheim Blvd

Anaheim, CA (May 13, 2023) – Police in Anaheim were called to the scene of a deadly pedestrian accident on Friday night, May 12th. The crash took place around 8:30 p.m. in the 1000 block of South Anaheim Boulevard.

Officials say that a man and a woman were walking on South Anaheim Boulevard when they were hit by a vehicle. Both victims were critically hurt. Paramedics responded and transported the injured pedestrians to a local hospital, where they ultimately succumbed to their injuries. Their identities were not immediately released.

The driver of the vehicle remained at the scene and spoke with authorities. At this time, police have ruled out alcohol impairment as a factor in the collision. There were no additional injuries reported. The driver of the vehicle was not identified.

Motorists were advised to avoid the area as the road was closed for several hours following the crash. An investigation remains ongoing at this time. There is no word on whether any charges will be filed.
