Huntington Beach, CA – 80-Year-Old Man Killed in Crash on Beach Blvd.
Huntington Beach, CA (January 19, 2023) – Police in Huntington Beach responded to the scene of a deadly crash on Thursday morning, January 19th. The accident happened around 9:00 a.m. on Beach Boulevard near the intersection with Knoxville Avenue.
According to a report from the area, an 80-year-old man was traveling on Beach Boulevard when he tried to change lanes. As the man moved into the lane, his car collided with a Porsche that was traveling northbound. The Porsche was being operated by a 28-year-old man from Newport Beach. The 80-year-old man was pronounced dead at the accident scene. He has not been identified at this time.
The 28-year-old man was not hurt in the crash. He remained at the scene and spoke with authorities. There is no word on whether any charges are expected to be filed at this time. Police continue to investigate the accident.
