Santa Barbara, CA – Motorcyclist Killed in Crash with Mail Truck on Marina Dr.

Santa Barbara, CA (May 3, 2023) – A motorcycle rider was killed in a crash with a USPS mail truck in Santa Barbara. The accident occurred just before 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday, May 2nd.

Police say that the rider collided with the truck at the Marina Drive intersection. The circumstances leading up to the collision are not known at this time. The motorcyclist sustained critical injuries and was later pronounced dead at the crash scene. The man’s identity has not been released at this time.

The driver of the USPS truck was not injured, and there were no other vehicles or individuals involved in the accident. Police are still investigating the crash at this time. It is unclear if any charges are expected to be filed.
