Being involved in a car accident can be a life-altering event for victims. Not every crash will result in injuries, but many of them will. This year, thousands of people will be hurt when they are involved in crashes that take place in Riverside County. These crashes can be caused for a variety of reasons, including speeding, reckless driving, distraction, and impairment. Each accident will be closely investigated in order to determine the cause and who should be held responsible. The reality is that most crashes will be caused by at least one at-fault driver.

Following a Riverside car accident, you may have questions about where to turn next. Initially, you may receive a call from an insurance adjuster who represents the other driver. Before you speak with anyone else about the crash, you should turn to an attorney for help. Many people believe that the insurance company is on their side. However, the adjuster is trying to get you to settle your claim as quickly and cheaply as possible. This type of settlement is not in your best interest and may not even cover all of your past and future medical costs.

Before you sign any documents or commit to a settlement, you should have a full understanding of your legal rights.
