Los Angeles, CA – One Dead, Three Hurt in Crash on La Tuna Canyon Rd.
Los Angeles, CA (February 24, 2023) – The Los Angeles Fire Department and police responded to the scene of a fatal crash on Friday, February 24th. The accident happened in the 6300 block of La Tuna Canyon Road in the Sunland-Tujunga neighborhood.
According to a report from officials, a car with three male occupants was traveling on La Tuna Canyon Road when the driver lost control of his vehicle. The car traveled into a flood control channel and came to rest. One of the occupants was ejected from the car and was found in the channel. That victim died from his injuries. Two other men were able to escape the vehicle. They were evaluated at the scene before being taken to a local hospital for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries. There were no other vehicles or individuals involved in the accident. The exact cause of the incident remains under investigation at this time.
Officials continue to investigate the collision. No further information is available at this time.
