Laguna Beach, CA – UPDATE: Eve Bartlet Identified in South Coast Hwy. Crash
Laguna Beach, CA (March 14, 2023) – Officials in Laguna Beach have identified the pedestrian who was killed in a crash over the weekend. The accident happened on Friday evening, March 10th, around 6:30 p.m. on South Coast Highway.
According to a report, 25-year-old Eve Amanda Bartlet was crossing the highway near Mountain Road when she was hit by a sedan. The Laguna Beach Police Department, along with paramedics and firefighters, rushed to the accident scene. Bartlet ultimately succumbed to her injuries at the scene. The driver of the vehicle remained at the scene and spoke with authorities. There were no other vehicles or individuals involved in the collision. The road was partially closed while police investigated the collision. There is no word on whether any charges are expected to be filed.
