Orange, CA (April 19, 2023) – Multiple vehicles and a motorcycle were involved in a crash that took place in Orange on Wednesday, April 19th. The accident happened around 7:30 a.m. in the southbound lanes of State Route 55 near Chapman Avenue.

According to the California Highway Patrol, a Yamaha motorcycle, a Mercedes Benz, and two other vehicles were involved in a crash that took place in the number 1 and number 2 lanes of State Route 55. Fire crews and paramedics were dispatched to the scene of the accident. The motorcyclist was injured in the accident and received treatment at the scene. The victim was then transported to a nearby hospital for further treatment. The nature and extent of the victim’s injuries are not known at this time. It is unclear if anyone else was injured as a result of the crash.

The road was partially closed while police investigated the accident. Motorists were advised to avoid the area and to find an alternate route of travel.
