Fatal Car Accident in Oxnard

Orange County can be a dangerous place for drivers and passengers. With thousands of car accidents resulting in either serious injuries or deaths every year, our local roadways clearly pose a great risk. Accidents can happen at any time and at less than a moment’s notice. The amount of negligent drivers on our roadways is the main threat to everyone else’s safety and well-being. These drivers violate traffic laws and operate their vehicles in an unsafe manner. They are often the cause of the most serious accidents that we see in Los Angeles and surrounding areas.

California law provides car accident victims with certain rights following the crash. If the other driver was fully or partially at fault for the collision, then the injured victim may be entitled to a recovery. In cases involving fatalities, the wrongful death law applies. In these instances, a relative can make a claim on behalf of their loved one to recover things such as medical bills and funeral costs. The law can be complicated, and it is always best to speak with an attorney before you make any decisions.
