Injury Crash in Los Angeles

As one of the most populous and heavily-traveled regions of the country, the Los Angeles area experiences its fair share of traffic accidents. Last year in the city alone, more than 50,000 people were hurt when they were involved in collisions on our local roadways. The reported number of crashes and injury accidents has risen in recent years. The cause of the increase is not easily explained. However, it does indicate that travelers may be facing more dangers than ever before when they get into a vehicle. Distraction, speeding, reckless driving, cell phones, and other hazards continue to create a potentially risky environment for all motorists.

If you have been affected by a Los Angeles car accident, you should seek the assistance of an attorney as soon as possible. Waiting to obtain legal advice can result in you making a wrong move and harming your claim. Many people make the mistake of speaking with a claims adjuster before talking to a lawyer. They may give a statement that hurts their case or they may even settle the claim before the full extent of their injuries is known. This can result in a less than adequate settlement under the circumstances of the case.
