Los Angeles, CA – One Killed, One Hurt in Accident on Santa Rosalia Dr.
Los Angeles, CA (July 14, 2023) – Police in the Los Angeles area responded to the scene of a fatal accident on Thursday night, July 13th. The collision took place around 9:30 p.m. in the 4200 block of Santa Rosalia Drive.
According to witnesses, an 85-year-old male and a 41-year-old male were walking on Santa Rosalia Drive when they were hit by a vehicle. Witnesses rushed over to help, and the LAPD arrived shortly thereafter. Paramedics and fire crews also arrived. The 85-year-old male died at the scene, while the 41-year-old male was transported to a local hospital in stable condition. Neither of the victims has been identified at this time.
The driver of the vehicle fled the area before police could arrive. Officials are looking for a dark-colored vehicle, but no further details about that vehicle are available yet. The vehicle was traveling at a high rate of speed at the time of the collision.
