Long Beach, CA – Motorcyclist Killed in Crash with SUV on Ellis St.

Long Beach, CA (January 28, 2023) – Authorities in Long Beach responded to the scene of a deadly motorcycle crash on Friday, January 27th. The accident took place around 7:00 p.m. on Long Beach Boulevard at the intersection with Ellis Street.

According to a report from the Long Beach Police Department, the motorcycle was traveling northbound on Long Beach Boulevard. At the same time, a Long Beach man was operating a 2014 GMC southbound on the same street. The GMC driver made a left turn in front of the motorcycle, resulting in a collision between the two vehicles. The motorcyclist suffered serious injuries to his lower body. He was later taken to a hospital where he died from his injuries. The GMC driver remained at the scene and cooperated with the investigation. No one involved in the accident has been identified at this time.
