Lake Forest, CA – Two Dead in Two-Car Crash on Bake Pkwy.

Lake Forest, CA (July 7, 2023) – Police in Lake Forest were called to the scene of a fatal two-car crash on Thursday, July 6th. The accident occurred around 11:00 p.m. at the intersection of Bake Parkway and Commercentre Drive.

According to police, a car was traveling near the intersection when it was hit on the driver’s side by another vehicle. The crash appeared to have been a T-bone-style collision. Two people in the car that was hit sustained fatal injuries in the collision. The female driver of the second vehicle was taken to a local hospital in unknown condition. There were no reports of any other injuries. The identities of the victim have not been released at this time.

An investigation into the cause of the accident is underway at this time. There is no word on whether any charges are expected to be filed.
