Fatal Huntington Beach Pedestrian Accident

Sadly, pedestrian accident fatalities in Los Angeles have increased in recent years. Pedestrians are among the most vulnerable accident victims because they have no protection from the impact of a crash. A pedestrian accident can occur in an instant and can drastically change the lives of those involved. Many pedestrian accidents occur at intersections and crosswalks when pedestrians are trying to cross the street. Each crash must be carefully investigated by authorities, however, many major pedestrian accidents take place due to driver inattention or carelessness. This can result in innocent victims being injured or killed as a result.

California law provides a remedy for injured victims and family members. This can include the right to file a wrongful death suit against a negligent motorist. These cases are complicated and should only be handled by a lawyer with experience in the area. In some cases, an accident victim or family member may try to handle the case on their own. Unfortunately, this often results in an inadequate outcome. It also places stress on the family as they try to navigate the complex world of a legal claim.
