Hollywood, CA – Two LAPD Officers Hurt in Crash on Melrose Ave.
Hollywood, CA (January 31, 2023) – Two officers with the Los Angeles Police Department were hurt in a car accident that took place on Tuesday, January 31st. The crash happened around 2:30 p.m. on Melrose Avenue near the intersection with Western Avenue.
According to a report from police, the two injured officers were riding in an SUV and responding to an emergency call when their vehicle entered the intersection. The police car collided with a second vehicle as it entered the intersection. A third car was also involved in the collision. The two officers sustained non-life-threatening injuries and were transported to a local hospital. A third person suffered moderate injuries and was also hospitalized.
