Fontana, CA – Man Killed in Pedestrian Crash on 210 Fwy. near Alder Ave.
Fontana, CA (January 26, 2023) – Officials in Fontana were called to the scene of a deadly pedestrian accident on Tuesday, January 24th. The crash took place around 9:50 p.m. on the 210 Freeway near the intersection with Alder Avenue.
According to a report from eyewitnesses, the victim was walking on the westbound side of the Freeway. At the same time, a 25-year-old woman from San Bernardino was driving a 2016 Kia. The Kia struck the pedestrian, resulting in the victim suffering life-threatening injuries. The pedestrian was later pronounced dead by rescue officials. His identity was not immediately released. Neither the pedestrian nor the driver was identified.
The driver of the Kia remained at the scene while officials investigated the crash. There is no word on whether any charges will be filed. The investigation remains ongoing.
